Meet The Doctor

As a Michigan native, Dr. Kella attended University of Michigan (Go Blue!) with the initial intent to study business. He completed his bachelor's degree in brain, behavior, and cognitive sciences and went on to receive a master's degree in biological sciences from the University of Medicine and Dentistry, New Jersey. After discovering how much he enjoyed helping people, he decided to shift his focus to a career that would allow him to make a positive impact on people’s lives. Dr. Kella proceeded to attend the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree.

After dental school, Dr. Kella completed a one-year General Practice Residency at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center in Chicago. During his residency, Dr. Kella fell in love with the city of Chicago and decided to make it his home. He’s excited to build his family and his practice in such a wonderful place.

Dedicated to continuing to improve his practice, Dr. Kella attends continuing education courses and stays up-to-date on cutting edge techniques and tools. He completed his Fellowship in Implantology from University of Nevada, Las Vegas and Mastership from California Implant Institute.

Dr. Kella hopes that by educating and communicating with his patients, he will be able to remove the negative stigma around dentistry and show that dental appointments are really nothing to fear.
